How is single life in Lexington?

I'm thinking of moving to Lexington and am in my 40's. I do clerical work so I think getting a job will be OK but wondering if there are alot of single people or is it mostly good for families. Thanks.

I grew up about 30 min south of Lexington and lived in Lexington itself for 3 yrs after college. The singles scene is great for college age, but rapidly dwindles after that. There don't seem to be many Kentuckins who are single at 30.
