There are 3 gangs in Livermore and they are well behaved. No violence perpetuated against private citizens only against other gang members. and it's with fists or knives or sticks, not guns. The Police have made it too hot to go further than that. I've lived in California my whole life and in south Livermore 12 years although I have friends that live in the so called gang area north of the railroad tracks. I know what's urban violence, like Detroit, the # 1 murder capital of the US. Other cities like Pleasanton, Dublin and San Ramon have gang members, this is a problem in nearly all cities even affluent cities.
