unfortunately, this place is too crowded and expensive for most people to own a home - even with the real estate market 'crashing'. My husband and I are both public school teachers, with small businesses on the side, and we can't afford to buy a home here. We're taking our skills and moving on - unfortunately, a lot of good teachers are, too.
