We used Best Places last fall, and came to our #5 recommended city(2,3,&4 were in FL, and we wanted out). Lynchburg looked good on our 2 week visit, so we packed up and moved here. With the exception of one wonderful neighbor, we deeply regret moving here. There are few jobs with decent pay, unless you fit into the education, healthcare, or neuclear industries.
There is virtually no middle class: it's a great place if you have money, but most of the neighborhoods are less that desireable. The city is trying to make a comeback, but without a middle class, I see little hope!
