Cost of Living- Too High

Madison is a nice place... but housing is very expensive, wages are low, and the cost of living is high. Not to mention, the crime in Madison is growing and it is not the safe place it used to be.

Really you think that it's not safe? Madison is far from dangerous. The cost of living is comparable to most college towns of Madison's size or bigger.

Got to agree on the cost of housing relative to salaries -- I still don't "get" who in the heck affords the $300k+ 1200 square foot houses on Midvale.
