We have been in Meridian for about a year now and one of the things that never ceases to amaze me is the focus on family and community. The greater Boise area has an endless list of activities for childeren and families. Most of the activities are very affordable also. The area has great parks, a zoo, musuems, outdoor recreation such as fishing boating hiking, rock climbing, rafting, camping and bird watching. The climate is very moderate for this part of the country so most of the activities can be enjoyed year round. Overall Meridian and the greater Boise area is a great place for families.
