One of the Most Pleasant Places to Live

Unfortunately, some views of Mexico, Missouri are focused on the past and so those people will stay living in the past, as the rest of us move forward. As to the outstanding members of the community, leaving with their morals and values, this can only be untrue; as I know many decent people within this community. Mexico, Missouri is a good place to raise a family, I should know I have one, and is a quiet town; so while there may not be all the goings and comings of a large city, we don't have near the crime ratings of the larger cities. Mexico, does in fact, still have the Soybean Festival, as well as, the Walk Back in Time and if one is creative enough, one can find many things to do in Mexico. Thankfully enough we don't have to live in the past, with the old almighty families that once were; we can create a new more united Mexico, with more tolerance and friendship, to face any rough times that the economy has for us. Overall, the economy has been in a slump and surely more cities, than just Mexico, have been affected by this circumstance. Mexico, Missouri is not on a downgrade, but on an incline; as new and more prosperous small businesses continue to open. I will stay in Mexico, Missouri, not because I am of unmoral or of bad character; but, because this city has the perfect balance of small town values, in which to raise a family and moderate city access, for the convenience of living. Such a lovely city I've had the opportunity to live in, full of kind, tolerant, moral, and neighborly citizens.
