Michigan is a beautiful place...three months out of the year. The rest of the time it's a frozen tundra. There's really not too much in the way of culture or entertainment unless you're near a bigger city like Lansing, but it has a lot of gorgeous spots for camping and hiking, and the lakes here are crystal clear. It's really a state for outdoorsy, sporty people, and leaves a lot to be desired for young adults who yearn for something to do past 10:00 o'clock at night.
