Michigan Rollercoaster

As a life long Michigander, I can say that living here is like riding a roller-coaster. I love the 4 seasons, but you never know what your going to get here. Long hot summers some years, to chilly wet summers for others. Winters can be long and cold, and winter sports/activities (snowmobiling, skiing, ice fishing)make it go by quickly. But then some years winter is wet, ugly, and long with little snow or ice for fun. Economy mirrors the climate.
When its good its great, but when the bottom falls out (which it does on a regular basis)people really suffer here. The one state recession michigan is experiencing now for several years, has caused me to want off the ride. Looking to move soon.
