Trust me if you are not retired or an employee of Dow, then don't move here, there is nothing to do, no night life to speak of, the property is expensive and the land taxes are very high, and the people are very snobby. although there are good sides too, the high taxes afford some nice things, high police presence, excellent schools and public services. If you are under 35 you could definitely move to a more exiting city than midland, but if you are just a really boring person with a bad attitude towards people who are not as well off as you, then Midland is just the place you are looking for.
