Bedroom Community

This post is an addition to my previous description. About the people - they can be friendly, however, they can be snobby. Mind you, I am not the only person who feels that way. Everyone I know, who moved to the community from a large city can also sense the aloof attitude. Otherwise, I must admit that it is a quiet town with little crime and a very large percentage of residents who have higher education, such as Ph.D.'s. About regional locations for excitement - the "Tridge" and the Midland Center for the Arts (mcfta.com) are the two major highlights in town, in my opinion. Both are really worth a visit! Two more important and interesting places include The Mackinaw Center and Northwood Institute, both downtown, near Main Street and come highly recommended.
