minneapolis cold and frigid yah you betcha

I have lived in minnesota for ten years now and I find the people in and around minneapolis the coldest and rudest people. yes there is alot of fakey artsy people but if your not born and raised here or are married to some one born and raised here you don't get in. minneapolis is very closed community and you can get very depressed by that soo. you have to make your own judgement and find what is important to you. I am living in a smaller town at present and I have to say it is nicer the people still say hello and wave at you at least my children made friends alot quicker in this area. as for the weather it is very unpredictable and yes it is cold cold cold, but it is clean and at present the town is very very safe not alot of drugs and no murders. I and my hubby intend to move from here eventually mainly cause I have some severe arthritis and it makes it very hard to withstand the cold weather. I cant say I wont miss the new friends I have made but I can always come to visit. as for the schools here again I have to say watch were you go cause the main problem I see and I know of from personal experience is here they want to medicate your child if he or she doesnt go with there flow or if they are a little diffrent. that is my major concern with the schools in the 50 mile radius of minneapolis but its not as bad in the outlaying areas sooo. just be careful
