2 years in Minneapolis - Amazing

I've lived here for 2 years now after graduating from Iowa State in 2006. This city is great!
The pros:
1. The seasons
2. Downtown Minneapolis Nightlife
3. Lakes for every person - young party crowd, private, low traffic
4. 30 minute drive and you are literally in the country
5. Culture
6. Independent music scene
7. Public works - parks, improving highway system, zoos
8. Malls everywhere (if you're into that)
9. St. Paddies in St. Paul is something everyone should experience

Cons:
1. North Minneapolis - Crime is terrible...
2. Housing costs
3. Taxes - Top 5 taxed states
4. Short building season for roads
5. Super liberal... attracts welfare state
6. No Country Bar in downtown Minneapolis
