Will never go back

I lived in Minneapolis as a college student and will never go back. The crime in the city center is not worth putting up with. As a student trying to make ends meet, I worked in the downtown area and was constantly harassed, accosted and physically threatened just because I was a woman and/or white. While minding my own business at a bus stop one afternoon, a stranger threatened to punch me in the face because I refused to converse with him. When I boarded the bus, the others who had been at the bus stop and witnessed the whole thing blamed me for not placating him! What kind of "Minnesota nice" is that? When I got home and reported the full description of the man - not hard to miss with a pimp hat and black eye patch - they did nothing since he hadn't actually struck me. I think the bleeding heart liberals need to re-think their policies. I vote with my feet.
