Midwestern yet organic and trendy

Minneapolis is a fabulous place to live. Yes it does get cold in the winter but no place is perfect. For the most part it is vegetarian friendly and has it together in terms of organic and healthy living (especially Uptown and South Minneapolis). The people are great and unlike a previous comment the crime isn't that bad. It is a city so of course there is crime but people who live in the city care about and it shows. It's clean and safe and I can't wait to move back! I am very proud of my hometown!
