No night life in Naples

We have more police per capita than any city our size in the U.S. Ever since the Sheriff's Department decided to crack down on DUI (there is very little other crime here) the night life has deteriorated. Restaurants go out of business as soon as the Sheriff's Department starts staking out the parking lots and sending plain clothes cops into the bars. i.e. Bennigans, Houlihans, Ditka's, Magiero's, Michaels, etc. etc. It used to be fun here but now there is very little live music, no place to dance. If you're single and over 40 there is no place to go. The Generation Xers have taken over downtown Naples. And no matter what your age or marital status, there is no place to go after about 11 PM except maybe the Waffle House.
