Review of Naples, Florida

Naples Ho Hum
Star Rating - 4/22/2008
Naples is a great place to retire, but can be a tough place to work. It's okay until "Season" when hordes of snowbirds clog the highways and byways. It's much better to live close to the beach, as that is the most fun. The suburbs may look good but being mostly bedroom communities they can be boring and isolating, especially in Season, when a 15 minute drive to the beach becomes 45 minutes. Also, it can be a dull town, not much live music and lites going out at 9 PM. The bars aren't very exciting, and the average age seems like 65. But the beaches are great, and if you don't have to work for a living; you'll probably love it.
