Review of New Jersey, New Jersey

We've Gotta Get Out of This Place
Star Rating - 6/20/2009
I've lived in and feel attached to this state and part of the country but finally I'm ready for a change. The property taxes (highest in the country) make it pointless to own a home since the property taxes on a modest home are equal to a small mortgage. Four seasons? Yes, like Vietnam most of the summer and cold and messy most of the winter. That leaves about 2-3 months of decent weather. Proximity to NYC and Phila are hard to do without but I'd rather live in a cost of living/weather-friendly part of the country at this point in time.
