Great place to live if you have a lot of money

I have lived in New Jersey almost all of my life and, despite all the jokes to the contrary, it is actually a great place to live. However, the cost of living is out of control, largely due to the home rule system of government which results in government services being duplicated in every town. I have enjoyed living here, but plan to leave when I retire.
