We live in a prosperous town in Bergen County. Despite the well-kept homes and tree-lined streets, we find life here is crowded and difficult. Horrific overpopulation and traffic, terrible rail service, rude, unhappy people talking on cellphones while driving SUV's carelessly, overstrained medical services, you get the picture. I think the NY metro area has a population density that the area cannot sustain, and the result is that a large segment of the population looks and feels miserable, while being out of touch with the true reason for the misery.
