New Jersey, particularly the shore area exceeded my expectations as a place to live but the taxes, both state and local, and the blatant curruption in government at all levels has finally driven me to leave. I'll miss the beautiful areas, the wealth of activities and great food but the cost:benefit has swung decidedly negative. I can live in equally nice areas for half or less the cost and probably be much more happy. Good bye NJ!!
