Getting Squeezed in NJ

I love NJ, and the shore is great.
But it has become too expensive to live here anymore. Due to the high costs of real estate taxes, & car insurance, just to name a couple,NJ is squeezing out all the long term NJerseyites.
The new housing that is being built here is 400K's-to the millions, I don't really know how people can afford those high mortgages.
Good luck, I'm looking for a less expensive place to live.:)
