New Jersey is a Great Place, But it Costs Too Much

New Jersey has a lot to offer. The quality of life is great, and the entertainment and cultural opportunities are wonderful. Unfortunately, if you don't have two well paying jobs so your income is $150,000+, you really won't make it. (Ours is over $100,000 and we don't make ends meet). Property taxes are very high, car insurance is very high, overall cost of living from movies to food is high as well. We're getting ready to re-locate after my son graduates in June of 2008. Three of his best friends families are doing the same thing. Lots of people leaving the state; most of the people coming in are immigrants.
