I've lived in here since 1988, left in 1995 and came back in 2005. I will always love Oceanside. You have to come check it out. It has changed so drastically and there are now a lot of tourist that come and go, but it's still a really nice place to visit and if you can afford living there, I say go buy a nice house for you and your family. No matter where I go, Oceanside will always be my home.
