Omaha is quite possibly the best place to live in the entire midwest. It has everything one needs, providing you are not the bored, restless type. For families there is plenty to keep busy with. The summers are fine, the winters bearable and the fall and spring beautiful. The economy is much better than average, with ample opportunities to make a good living. Many houses are VERY nice and loaded with amenities that are hard to find on the coasts, such as state-of-the-art heating and cooling systems, fully finished basements, and gourmet kitchens. Life is good with no hurricanes or natural disasters to worry about and a very low unemployment rate. I have been looking into other places to live for several years and every time I find a possibility, it turns out to be inferior in some major aspect. Check it out!
