The good, the bad, and the ugly

Oregon has no sales tax, but property taxes are high, crime rate is terrible, and politics has turned Oregon into a far left state, which in turn has done much to hurt the economy of Oregon. Education administrative costs have become so high that it is harming the quality of children's education instead of helping it.
Oregon is a beautiful state with many natural wonders, a place that at one time a person had the freedom to enjoy and go where they pleased and follow their dreams. It's place that I fell in love with 45 years ago. Now, sadly, so much has changed that the freedom we cherished is slowly being choked out of our lives.
