Eugene and most of Oregon leans heavily to the lef

Oregon is a hard place to get things done. Besides a spiraling state debt, every issue is talked to death and I have seen federal dollars pulled for projects because government is trying to do what is politically correct for everyone. You can't please everyone. Do what is best for most and move on.
