I see all these people on here dissing my beautiful city and it makes me angry. I am a born and raised Arizona native who has done a lot of traveling my life and still would be perfectly happy to spend the rest of my life here in this "Valley of the Sun" We have blue sky's almost everyday, and you can see the stars almost every night. You can drive an hour and a half and be in the forest and cooler weather, you can drive 3 hours to Mexico, California's San Diego and L.A. are a short commute, Camping and hiking are LIMITLESS and if you have ever been to Sedona or the Grand Canyon you will not say we are without splendor. Phoenix is a vibrant fast paced city with endless cultural diversity and a hoppin' night life. Anyone who says they don't like Phoenix is obviously dwelling on the negative or just sticking their heads in the sand and refusing to see all this city and state have to offer. And believe me, you get used to the heat really fast, a lot faster than I got used to the cold when I moved away for a few years. I will take our sun over your snow any day!
