moving to phoenix

vanessa--noo!! don't move here! we're moving out after my wife has been here 23 yrs, and I've been here 15 yrs. Phoenix is heading by the way of over-growth. I drive a bus in this city, and people have no qualms about cutting off a 17 ton bus loaded with people, and then flip me and my passengers off for their own ignorance just to make a right turn in front of me. Air quality is horrendous!!and I can't emphasize that enough.
However, every city has it's own flavor and what 1 likes about it another doesn't. Pay a visit first, drive during rush hour and come during summer--preferably august to get a good jest of the summer heat--usually around 110-117 and make sure your vehicle has bone-chilling a/c. Just don't break down as a lot of people won't stop and those that do sometimes aren't on the up and up (I usually call p.d. or h.p.)
Take several visits during different times of the year, as the most polluted is around the latter part. It's called "temperature inversion" where it's cooled down from summer and the cooler air keeps the pollution to the lower levels. good luck!
