Phoenix is full of a bunch of fake people, who parade around like they are all millionaires when they're really making $40,000/year. The morals and values of the people here are terrible. The roads and freeways are nice compared to just about anywhere else I've been, but you pay for it because the 202, a major freeway, is closed just about every weekend, so you can't even drive on it. But at least it looks pretty. Also, so much taxpayer money goes towards keeping up the roads that there is hardly any left for the public schools. As a result, they have the second worst public school system in the country behind Arkansas. I challenge anyone to compare the school funding to any other state and you'll find it always on the lacking end. ASU is a great school, however. But 40% of the student body is from out of state, so most of the great and students they have are from elsewhere. I am from out of state and attended ASU and am attending medical school next year, so I believe ASU prepared me well. But I'm glad that I didn't attend high school here. As far as religion goes, I found a great church, and am extremely happy with it. I will miss it greatly when I leave. However, it took me four years to find a decent one. Many people pretend like they are Christians, but then they walk out the door of the church and do the same things anyone else would. I have not found this to be the case elsewhere. The drivers are idiots and can't read a speed limit sign. Then they go and brag about how crazy they can drive when they go to smaller towns and scare the locals. Irresponsible driving is not something to be proud about. There's a reason why there is a red light camera on every half way major street corner; because everyone runs red lights! I see accidents or near accidents every week! All of the houses here look the same. If you've seen one neighborhood here, you've seen them all. Definitely not the "American dream" typical neighborhoods. And finally, the weather....it sucks a full six months out of the year. Please! Don't listen to anyone who will tell you that it's only hot 3 or 4 months out of the year. If you think 100 degrees is hot, then it is HOT 6 months out of the year. I went to the ASU vs. USC football game on October 1st last year and it was 105 degrees in October! We were dying, standing there in the direct sun of the student section. Now there is one great thing about the heat. Going to the lakes. If you enjoy boating you can'
