Moving

My wife and I live in a small (pop. around 500ppl) town right outside of Rock Springs Wy. If you want to make money, then this is the state for you, but the quality of life in R.S. sucks. Cost of living is very expensive, not much for culture, and be prepared to loose your spouse. I say that because if you want to make good money then you will most likely be working in the oil fields, and by doing that you've guarenteed living at work and visiting home occasionally. If you are in need of medical attention, might as well pack up and drive to Utah or Colorado. The hospital in town will most likely have you life flighted, so save the money and drive. The wind blows all but two days out of the year. Ok, I think that took care of my frustrations of living here, lets move on...My brother (a dentist) and I decided to start a buisness of our own, which is still in the begining stages. This buisness will be moving us from Wy. to Az., the Phoenix area to be (some what) exact. From my investigating, the cost of housing seems to be lower than that of Rock Springs. According to the postings that I've read, though, it seems I may be wrong. My wife and I will be heading down there at the end of May to look for housing, but I'm not sure where to start. By that I mean I'm not sure what neighborhoods are good and safe for little children. If anyone can bring some light to that, I would appreciate it.
