First of all, NJ was horrible I can't believe I lasted there for so long. High income tax, property tax, toll roads, people are jerks, highly polluted, worst place for nature lovers. I am in Phoenix area for 2years and I love so much! Yes I will not lie about dusty air, hell-like weather in July-August, people drive like morons, house prices skyrocketed. But there are so many advantages. Winter is among the best in USA (65-70s in Dec-Feb). So many mountains to hike, backpack, Sedona is 2 hours away, want to ski drive 2 1/2hrs north to Flagstaff, utilize your pool from Jun to October, low income taxes, low property taxes, people are friendlier overall, great state for real estate investment, Las Vegas is 5hrs away, LA is 6hrs away, lots of national parks to visit (Grand Canyon 4hrs away), Lake Powell kicks butt, beach is less than 4hrs away in Mexico, economy staying strong. Any questions?
