I can not wait for the thing to be up and running. Of all the major cities that I have been to, Phoenix has by far the worst public transit system that I've seen. I would have to say the public is probably split down the middle as to whether the rail system will be of any benefit. I for one, think that the rail will be a huge boost to Phoenix becoming a true "metropolis". For those of you that voted yes on light rail, thank you. I can not wait until they spread the lines out into the burbs, so we that really stand to benefit the most, can start to ride to work and the city in peace all while reading the paper or a good book. It beats sitting on the U.S. 60 daily morning parking lot any day.
