I'm sorry to say Phoenix has changed since I was born here. And not for the better! They have torn down the deserts all over the valley for concrete suburbs that all look a like. The traffic is horrible! Everyone drives 20miles over the speed limit tailgating you( we are number 1 in tailgating) and road rages! Crime has gotten much worse in the last 10 years. I live in a nice neighborhood in central Phoenix (24thst&Missouri). Random gun shots happen at least once a month. Plus the baseline rappist,the 2recreational shooters, drug dealers,gang bangers, home invasions, and robbers! I'm sorry to say, but Phoenix is now just a big urban jungle. I'm heading to Austin! Don't move here you will probably regret it! Ps. When the weather is ideal from October to April) Phoenix gets about twice as crowed from all the SnowBirds too!
