Reality Check for all of the Phoenix Haters!

First off....I moved to Arizona from South Florida last year 2005.
To all of you bashing Phoenix...you must be smoking some incredible Weed!
Let's be realistic here to the people who really want to know About Arizona.
First...I wouldn't live in the heart of any city..such as Phoenix, Miami, New York, LA. You guys are crazy!
Let's talk east valley Arizona.....20 minutes from Phoenix. Mesa, Tempe, Scottsdale. Do NOT make Arizona sound as bad as you guys are making it.
Heat? Yes....but you get used to it after awhile. If you came from a cold climate, give me a break! Of course you will find Phoenix hot! DUH
Crime? No worse or better then most cities in America.
Culture? Plenty...a Multi Million dollar Arts Center in Mesa built last year. Some of the best plays, concerts and acts show up here.
Traffic....just like LA, Miami, New York.
Air Quality...same as Miami, etc.
The people who have bashed Phoenix must have an agenda for doing so.
Why are so many people moving here?
You are within several hours of Calif. New Mexico, Utah, Vegas! Fantastic for trips and vacations.
Wonderfuly friendly people. The idiots on here who said Phoenix is rude...are out of their minds.
The Housing Costs?? We bought a 3 bedroom 2 bath house about 2200 sq ft on a gold course in a beautiful neighborhood...not for 400,000 but $249,000
The posts I have read on here are so out of whack with reality it is scary!
Don't beleive all the garbage you read here about Phoenix being so bad.
IT IS NOT.
