Review of Phoenix, Arizona

Alright, there are a lot of crappy things about Phoenix, the heat, the sprawl, the traffic, etc. But... there are nice things
about Phoenix as well. For example, there are quite a few Trader Joe's around town ( something you appreciate when you don't have one for a while). Also, there is a great University (ASU) especially for graduate level studies and there is a fantastic two year college (Phoenix College).

My husband and I live in the Willow area and we love it. There are old historic homes and cafes and encanto park up the street. It's true Phoenix is not going to give you the perfect city life, you have to carve it out for yourself. You must find the niches where the cool places (smart people) are. They are there, you just have to look.

And I don't care what you say, when November roles around and the rest of the nation is freezing their butts off and you know that you are about to have 5 months of the most perfect weather, somehow all the bad things go away. The month of March is the most beautiful thing you can imagine, sunny days, orange blossom lined streets, crisp clear desert nights.
