Living in Phoenix

Lived here for over 10 years and each year I want to leave. Not a native. From the midwest. Have watched it grow and very fast. The things that they are finally bringing have been in several states along time ago, so Phoenix is behind.
Housing -very nice in most areas for the price you pay you get more than larger cities
Culture- Miss all the free concerts in the parks and organized cultural events. Been to lots here not as much fun. Jazz festival same people every year. Sedona on the rocks nice but far away and expensive. Not alot of major people coming to town,
Education- worst school systems I have seen, kids are far behind major cities in most areas
Transportaion - driving is the worst ever-there is not a day that goes by that I do not see minimum two accidents. Finally bringing in rail system. Good idea.
Weather-If you can escape from June thru August..do it. Winters are wonderful. The air quality is worsening as more people come in.
People- The natives are not friendly and seem to be very close minded. People stay to themselves. you never feel accepted if you aren't from here. When you try to share your experience the first thing they say then leave. Not once have I heard that's a good idea or I wonder why they don't do it in Phoenix.
Neighborhoods- most areas are pretty good and you have what you need close by. Unless you grew up here the neighbors stay to themselves.
Shopping- was horrible when I first came has improved
Things to do- In the last 4 years has increased and is on its way.
Jobs - plentiful but the pay is horrible, alot of people have two jobs
