College Town

Pittsburgh is an adjustment from rural communities. It's also not quite the style of Eastern Pennsylvania cities like Philadelphia. If you're underage it takes a while to find things to do for entertainment. If you're over 21 there are many bars and other attractions for adults and the business world. The downtown part of Pittsburgh shuts down around 6:00 P.M. it's a working city and most of the business people don't live in the city. So as it gets later it gets quiter. Wish being from suburbia its a bit relaxing. Living in down town is convienient since all of the bus lines come through and you can go to all of the towns outside the city. Lots of college scenes in Oakland, since Pitt is its own little city. As soon as you're inside the Pitt strip it becomes a different world. Slightly reminding me of New England. A bit modern and a bit antique. Pleasant... but never quite. Lots and lots of business oppurtunities in Oakland and the South Side. Southside wouldn't be the best suggestion for living, but anything else you want its there.
