Need advice beore moving

I'm considering moving from Chicago, IL to Pittsburgh, PA and I just had a few questions.

Are there any tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes or any other weather storms and if so how often?

How is the crime rate?

I have a 6 year-old, and I would like to know if the schools are okay in the south suburbs?

Is the pollution still a major problem?
