I was born and raised in this backward, dreary, sorry excuse for a city, and will be moving very soon! All people care about are sports and drinking here. You cannot go more than 5 minutes without a sports update on any Pittsburgh media outlet, even in the off-seasons. And if you don't care about sports, you are considered crazy and will be ridiculed by other Pittsburghers. There is a real lack of any type of culture. The "cultural district" consists of one block! There is nothing for young people to do. The weather is miserable, even in the summer. In other cities, "downtown" is where to go, but if you do not work in downtown Pittsburgh, there is no reason for you to be there. It turns into a ghost town at 5:30pm. Our downtown is full of junk shops and boarded up buildings. I have no idea how this place got the title "most liveable city". It's depressing! I strongly encourage anyone thinking about moving here to reconsider! This is not a real city!
