Lived throughout the U.S., Portland's is one of the better places so far. A LOT of southern Californians and Bay area folks moving in though and really raising property values. I think PDX will become a childless city, like SF, CA, within the next five - ten years. Really unfortunate because there are a lot of cool neighborhoods with good neighbors, nice parks and close by schools. Oh well.
