The reason why there is an "ANTI-CALIFORNIA" vibe is because we see people come from California and try to change the area and make it mini-California. Honestly, if Californians were all about moving to the Northwest and respecting the beauty and quality of life it has to offer, people would be more friendly. However, we see Californians come in cut down trees and completely disrespect the people that have lived here for generations. We're not being close minded, we're protecting what we have. CALIFORNIA's economy and quality of life is in the tank, we don't want those people coming to the NORTHWEST and doing the same thing. Bottom line we're good people trying to protect our heritage, vales and not wanting to conform to the big state of California.
