The insignifigance of big cities

I moved from a small town to the middle sized metropolis of Portland in anticipation that it would have an environment that would meet my values and foster growth. As well as offer me tremendous opportunities in my career path. If I had known that two years, and three jobs later, I would be making the same amount of money, have to deal with traffic and weather induced headaches. I probably would have stayed in the low-key small town.
