My wife and I lived in Portland OR for over a dozen years and now have settled into Prescott. We've run across others who have moved here from the Northwest. We love the 300 sunny days per year, the summer rainy season and the cool nights. Even though we have air conditioning in our home, we find that most days we just leave the windows open and let the breezes blow through. During the day, we're about 20 degrees cooler than Phoenix. So, most summer days are in the 80s, which is not unbearable. Nights cool down considerably because of the thin air. We dip into the 50s on summer nights. And the stars at night are amazing. The people of Prescott are amazing. Every time we venture out, we run into the friendliest people. Great church communities, too. We love our life in Prescott, and coming from the NW, it's the perfect balance.
