Im from Stockton, here are a few good things about the city, excellent location, Bay area, Sacramento, Sierra Nevadas, and beaches are all within 1-2 hours. Great diversity people from all walks of life, Job growth, Revitalizing the downtown area, (beautiful new arena and ballpark) the Delta water ways if you enjoy boating, also provides a nice breeze through out the year, University of the Pacific a presitgious private school with a beautiful campus, Nice weather, lots of sunshine. Sure theres crime but it's definately not the worst, besides it is a city what do you expect?
