Let me tell you about Stockton. The little ticky tacky look alike homes located near the section 8 homes all look desireable but don't be fooled we get hit with crime too. Yes, there are Million Dollar homes in Stockton but it is all located behind fenced in gated areas. Life by the Delta has it's advantages but boy watch out for the disadvantages such as in the heat of the night raw sewage smell fills the air. If you stop at the gas stations you might approached by a homeless person begging for change or a dollar. I really look forward to moving out of California. I am California born and raised but California has nothing to offer me it gives me asma and keeps my head aching. I am looking for a place where the water is drinkable the air is good to breath I am close to retirement and I am ready. Yes, we are close to Sacramento and easy excess to San Francisco. If you are looking to start somewheres and your funds are low I guess you can put up with anything for a certain amount of time (money).
