I grew up in Toledo. Most Toledoens are very proud of their city. I am a big fan of the great metroparks system, the art museum, Mudhens (AAA baseball team), and the zoo. There are a number of great suburbs and neighborhoods. There are a decent amount of cultural outlets (symphony, museums, etc.) My family has found great restaurants and specialty stores that contribute to a great quality of life. There are numerous Catholic schools for kids. It is not a fabulous place for young, single, professionals (but few places are)...a great family town where neighbors are happy to get to know each other.
