Upon reading numerous reviews on living in Tyler TX, after I and my family moved here!!!! I really wish I had read before leaving my home state to come here. Most of the negative things I have read about Tyler regarding the people, driving, jobs, culture, food, and overall lifestyle are ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. There is no culture here, racism is well and alive in Tyler, no opportunity for growth, and nothing to do (as far as activities, socializing, FUN). People seem to have quite the challenge communicating in Tyler, people lack manners (just simply saying excuse me), and people ASSUME it's cheap here, NO ITS NOT!!! The boredom and lack of diversity, alone will kill you or keep you in a state of depression. I am stuck here for 1 year and I am only 3 months in, planning to make a QUICK EXIT SOON AS MY YEAR GETS HERE!!!!
