Review of Washington, District of Columbia

Great place to live...if you can afford it.
Star Rating - 12/27/2006
I have lived in Southern Cal for many years. I moved to the DC area in 1988 for the season changes. The DC area is full of fun things to do for the whole family. DC also has one of the best train and bus systems in the USA.

The two biggest stresses for me to live here in Northern Virginia is the astronomical housing prices and the traffic is getting worse every year. Many people commute all the way from West VA and PA!!

I recommend living outside the Capitol Beltway if you want to buy a house under $1 Million.

Good Luck!
