This is the city in where you want to come if you want to loose your family and work 60 hours a week, just to stay on top of all the other wanna make a good impression just graduated college co-workers. It seems that traffice is another sore spot here, as commuting anywhere will not only challenge your concentration and patience, but also your ability to find parking without getting fined or possibly worse, towed. Besides the larges STD community in the country this area does have a lot to offer for the people that love to mingle, showboat, brag or just be stuck up like the rest of the Washintonians. But the lots of museums, culturally speaking this place is a Mecca. You will find a lot of different things to do and visit around the area. However, again, if you want to keep your sanity and your family, this might be the worst spot right behind NY. Unless of course you are wanting to pay a cool half a million for a house in the suburb (you will need about that for a Townhouse...at a minimum). At your initial interview, they forgot to mention that even though the salary that they are offering you is twice what it is where you are now, the cost of living is about 5 times as high.
